Prisma Daily does not require its own user account. Puzzles, progress, notes, hint credits, playing times, Daily streaks, learning progress, achievements, statistics and settings are stored locally in the app’s private storage. The app does not upload these saved games to a server operated by us. We have not added our own analytics or cloud synchronisation service.
You can delete local data through Android’s app settings or uninstall the app. Doing so removes your local game progress. A purchase made through Google Play remains associated with your Google account and can be restored.
If you choose, a local notification reminds you about the daily puzzle. You enable this feature yourself and can turn it off in the app or Android settings. The reminder time is stored locally; this feature uses no push service and sends no advertising messages. An optional home screen widget shows your local Daily status. People who can see your unlocked screen may also be able to see this information.
Purchases and payments are handled through Google Play. The app receives the product identifier, purchase status and technical proof of purchase to unlock the full version, acknowledge purchases and restore them. The last confirmed unlock status is stored locally. The app does not receive credit card or bank account details. Google processes payment and account information under its own privacy information. Billing records required by law may be retained after you uninstall the app. If you have been given an unlock code, the app checks it locally and also stores the resulting unlock status on your device.
The Google Play Billing library also processes technical diagnostic data to operate and troubleshoot purchase and restoration features and sends this data to Google. This can happen when the app starts, regardless of whether you allow advertising or make a purchase. The local age-group choice does not turn off this purchase management.
Before loading advertising, the app asks whether you are at least 18 years old. Only your choice is stored on your device, not your date of birth. If you select “Under 18” or choose not to answer, no requests are sent to AdMob or UMP. You can change your choice in settings.
The free version uses Google AdMob. You can choose to watch an advertising video for extra hints. Ads may also appear occasionally after a completed puzzle. Once the full version is unlocked, the app does not request further ads; purchase restoration remains available.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage your choices. Where required, a dialog appears before advertising with options to consent, reject or adjust your preferences. It also explains the participating advertising partners and purposes. Your choice is saved and taken into account when requesting ads. In the app’s settings, “Ad privacy options” lets you reopen the available choices and withdraw consent. Withdrawal applies to future processing. The free game features remain available without consenting to personalised advertising. For adult users, UMP may also update existing privacy settings after the ad-free full version has been unlocked.
Depending on consent and configuration, Google’s advertising SDK processes your IP address, which may be used to estimate your approximate location; device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID; interactions with the app and ads; and technical diagnostic data. These are used to deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent abuse. Data is encrypted in transit. The app does not request GPS location permission.
Rejecting personalised advertising does not necessarily mean that no data is transmitted: where limited advertising is permitted, technical data may still be processed. You can also delete or reset your Android advertising ID in your device settings.

Processing for requested game features, purchases and restoration is used to perform the contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Advertising purposes that require consent are based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Where legally permitted, necessary technical diagnostics and security processing serve our legitimate interest in stable, secure operation free from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Statutory retention obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Storing or accessing information on your device is also subject to Section 25 of Germany’s TDDDG. Consent is obtained where no legal exception for strictly necessary operations applies.
Recipients are Google and the advertising partners listed in the consent dialog for the purposes you select. Processing outside the European Economic Area is possible. Information about Google’s international processing and safeguards is available in Google’s privacy policy. Information about partners is accessible through the consent dialog.
Local app data remains stored until it is deleted. Retention by Google and advertising partners depends on the purpose, your settings and legal requirements; their respective privacy information describes their practices. Deleting the app does not automatically delete data stored externally.
If you contact us by email, we process your message and contact details to handle your request. Messages that are no longer needed are deleted unless retention is required.
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please use the contact address above. For data that Google processes as an independent controller, you can also use Google’s privacy tools. You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Germany.
